From May 21 to 25, 2025, the 9th Silk Road International Expo and the China Eastern and Western Cooperation and Investment and Trade Fair were held in Xi'an. Under the theme "Silk Road Connectivity – Open Cooperation," the expo featured six exhibition zones including Silk Road Premium Products, Inter-provincial Cooperation, and Technology Innovation, covering a total area of 72,000 square meters. From May 1 to 5, 2025, the third phase of the 137th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) was held in Guangzhou. This offline exhibition covered a total area of 515,000 square meters, featuring 24,560 booths and 12,043 participating companies. Among them, over 2,200 were high-quality enterprises including national high-tech companies – an increase of more than 100 compared to the previous session, reflecting a stronger and higher-quality exhibitor mix.
At this year's fair, the products on display were more refined and tailored to specific consumer needs. On July 24, 2023, riding the momentum of the China-Central Asia Summit, the Xi'an economic and trade delegation arrived in Kyrgyzstan.
